Abstract: The current pandemic has highlighted the importance of the best practices from HRO theory. High Reliability Organizations would be expected to have a robust response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as they already have high levels of leadership engagement, a positive safety culture, a sense of vulnerability and a collaborative approach that empowers problem solving.
