Yazeed Aldughaither, Young Leaders Advisory Board (YLAB) Coordinator, Aramco, assumed his current role in January 2024 where he leads the board’s advisory studies workstream. This function provides counsel to the company’s leadership on strategic topics relevant to the company’s youth. YLAB serves as a trusted advisor to corporate management and facilitates two-way communication between its senior leadership and the company’s predominantly young workforce. With a background in the upstream sector, Yazeed previously worked as a drilling engineer, developing detailed technical programs for drilling development wells in Safaniya, the world's largest offshore oil field. He also contributed to upstream development strategies, creating field development plans and economic models for Aramco's hydrocarbon assets, a critical function in the management of the company's vast reservoir portfolio. Yazeed was inducted as a Raisina Young Fellow, recognizing his emerging leadership and contributions to his field. He also sits on the Executive Board of the Saudi Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE-KSA) where he serves as Editor-in-Chief of SandRose Magazine. He holds a patented invention and maintains professional certification from SPE International. Yazeed earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
