Yahya Al-Amri is a Senior Well Engineer with over 15 years of extensive experience in health, safety, and environment (HSE) management within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving with the HSE wells team at Petroleum Development Oman, he oversees a team dedicated to implementing PDO's HSE Management System across well operations. Yahya has a proven track record in leading high-stakes workover teams and managing multi-million-dollar projects, ensuring safety and operational excellence.

His expertise spans various aspects of well design, integrity management, and contract management, complemented by his qualifications as a Lean Manager and Six Sigma practitioner. Recognized for his leadership skills and commitment to continuous improvement, Yahya has contributed to significant advancements in incident investigation processes and HSE specifications. He is also an accomplished speaker, having authored publications on several recognized conferences such as SPE, IADC. As well , a committee member in Abu Dhabi Asset Integrity Management Conference 2024 & SPE Oman Petroleum and Energy Show 2025
