Mark Gittus is an HSE professional with over 20 years’ experience and a Chartered OHS Professional (COHSP) through the Australian Institute of Health and Safety (AIHS), he holds a Masters Degree in Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health from Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia. Having worked in a range of HSE leadership and technical roles in the E & P industry in Australia, Asia, Europe and the Middle East Mark has a broad base of experience in corporate, operations and project development to draw from.

With a track record of HSE performance improvements achieved through strategically developing capability and systems, creating learner organizations and unlocking HSE leadership potential Mark has a strong interest in people development, leadership, human performance and applying new ways of thinking to solving HSE challenges. Since early 2024 Mark has been part of Petroleum Development Oman developing and implementing an HSE Coaching program.
